Welcome to The Rustic Bend retreat, a slow-living sanctuary tucked into the trees. Whether you’re joining us for a private sauna session or one of our weekly community nights, here’s everything you need to know to feel cozy, grounded, and ready to unwind.
What to Bring
Swimsuit is required for all sessions.
Bring a water bottle, as hydration is important. We do not have running water, but fresh drinking water is always available on site.
You are welcome to bring a robe, sandals, toque or your own towel from home, or you can simply use one of ours.
Clean Arrival = Happy Sauna/Hot Tub
Please arrive freshly showered and scent-free to protect the sauna wood, the water, and everyone’s senses. Avoid perfumes, body sprays, and essential oils.
If you arrive without a shower, you will be kindly directed to begin your session with a refreshing cold rinse.
What We Provide
Cozy robes are available to rent for ten dollars.
Deck shoes are provided for your comfort.
Fresh, fluffy towels are ready for you.
The site includes a sauna, hot tub, cold tub.
Enjoy the fire lounge with Adirondack chairs, a hammock, solar lighting, and cozy blankets.
A Little Bathroom Honesty
We have a high-quality composting toilet, but if you are particular about your porcelain experience, you may want to go before you come. The bathroom is private, clean, and fully vented, but still rustic.
Bonus tip
Keeping it just a number-one zone helps keep the smell low and the vibes high.

Please arrive fifteen minutes early to allow time for parking and settling in.
Our site is rustic. Expect bugs, breezes, birdsong, and perhaps a dog barking in the distance.
